Pringle Village aged accommodation opens in Kalgoorlie-Boulder

The WA Government has welcomed the official opening of a new modern retirement living village in Kalgoorlie-Boulder.

The State Government contributed $9.8 million towards the Pringle Village project, which provides contemporary independent living units for people living in the Goldfields region.

The village, operated by Goldfields Masonic Homes Inc, includes 49 units, helping to meet high demand for independent living options in the region.

The units incorporate aged friendly design and are arranged in clusters, with common areas including community barbecues, raised garden beds, giant chess and a mini golf green, to facilitate a strong sense of community.

Goldfields Masonic Homes engaged a high level of local content in the project using a local building company, local contractors and suppliers, in the construction of the village, providing employment and training opportunities for Goldfields locals.

The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder also provided funding to support the project.
