The Victorian Government is giving Victoria’s smallest towns an extra month to apply for a Tiny Towns Fund grant, offering regional communities more time to apply for support to help improve their towns.
Minister for Regional Development Jaclyn Symes announced that applications for Round 3 of the $20 million Tiny Towns Fund have been extended by four weeks and will now close at 4pm on Wednesday, 4th of March.
Grants of $5,000 to $50,000 are available to towns with fewer than 5,000 residents for projects that expand opportunities to connect, attract visitors, improve facilities, and deliver infrastructure upgrades.
The application extension is part of the Vic Government’s broader response to support communities impacted by bushfires and floods.
