A woman has died after being injured while operating a silage wrapper on a farm at Jack River in Gippsland on Wednesday.
It is understood the 47-year-old was working alone before she was found underneath the machinery by other workers.
She was flown to hospital but later died from her injuries.
WorkSafe is investigating.
The death is the 39th confirmed workplace fatality and the seventh in the agriculture industry for 2024. There were 63 work-related deaths at the same time last year.
