Western Australia’s Skillaroos are on their way to France, having been farewelled in Melbourne ahead of their participation in the 47th WorldSkills International Competition.
Six WA competitors will join 32 Skillaroos representing Team Australia at WorldSkills Lyon 2024, which runs from 10 to 15 September.
This prestigious event will see over 1,400 competitors from 70 countries across 59 skills. WA’s Skillaroos, who have been training since their selection in March, will compete in areas such as painting and decorating, cyber security, and jewellery, aiming to continue the state’s proud tradition of success.
