Six community partnerships from across the State are in the running for the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety’s 2019 Community Partnership Resources Sector Award.
The partnership projects ranging from education, early childhood development, employment, and sporting infrastructure, aim to provide a long-lasting legacy in local communities.
They will be judged against three criteria: leadership and innovation in establishing a partnership; benefits of the collaboration; and a demonstrated commitment to providing enduring and sustainable outcomes.
The winner of the Community Partnership Resources Sector Award will be announced at the department’s Resources Sector Awards for Excellence on August 22, 2019, along with the Golden Gecko Award for Environmental Excellence.
