Science for Food Security: Making a Global, Professional and Personal Difference

Science for Food Security: Making a Global, Professional and Personal Difference

Be inspired. Explore countries and cultures. Have a rewarding career AND make a difference. Interested?

If you want to be motivated by the work of young Australian scientists or are looking for study, career or volunteer opportunities delivering global, professional and personal impacts, join our free live interactive 60-minute panels and Q&A during National Science Week.

Hear from young passionate scientists talking about their diverse and rewarding work in developing countries and how you can get involved too – whatever your age.

For science, geography, environment, agriculture, food tech or social science high school students wondering about what to do next, uni students wondering where to take their studies, those interested in volunteering and the general public who want to hear about great work underway.

The Fund is working with the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR), Researchers in Agriculture for International Development (RAID) Network, and (in Tasmania) the Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture (TIA) to bring these three free online events to anyone interesting in tuning in.

Follow the links above for more details and registration for each event. Attend all three and hear from more of our inspiring NextGen and how you can be involved!
