Goulburn Mulwaree Council and the NSW Environmental Protection Authority are advising caution following a herbicide spill near the CBD.
The herbicide was spilt into a stormwater drain which flows downstream into the Mulwaree River. At this stage we are taking an extremely cautious approach and do not believe there is any reason to be concerned.
People walking dogs along the Mulwaree River should also be cautious, and keep them out of the water.
Out of an abundance of caution, the NSW EPA are undertaking water testing to ensure that the Mulwaree River has not been significantly affected.
