Grants open to support Victorian distilleries

Victorian distillers now have an opportunity to expand their businesses with the latest round of Business Growth Fit-for-Purpose grants under the Distillery Door Program.

Applications are open for grants of up to $200,000, supporting projects that enhance production capacity, introduce new technology, or strengthen marketing efforts. These grants aim to encourage industry growth, create new opportunities, and boost Victoria’s position as a leader in distilling.

Bakery Hill Distillery in Kensington has previously benefited from the program, receiving funding to establish a tasting room bar at its new distillery. Recognised internationally for its single malt whiskies, Bakery Hill has been family-owned and operated for over two decades.

Since its launch, the Distillery Door Program has provided more than $7 million in direct funding to help Victoria’s 180 distillers grow their businesses, supporting over 9,000 jobs across Victoria.

Applications close on 25 March. For more information or to apply, visit agriculture.vic.gov.au.
