Dreamworld and WhiteWater World are excited to announce the commencement of their staged re-opening on Wednesday 16 September 2020.
Guests will be welcomed back to Dreamworld and WhiteWater World ahead of the September (2020) holiday period, with plenty of reasons to visit and enjoy their favourite theme park attractions.
Understanding how challenging the past few months have been for locals, Dreamworld is offering a Locals Annual Pass for only $99, for a limited time only. Normally $139 for adults, the Pass will offer guests great value and the opportunity to create new memories at Dreamworld, WhiteWater World and SkyPoint.
“We have listened to our local community and we understand that everyone’s been doing it tough. That’s why we are holding a limited time only promotion to welcome our locals back to Dreamworld and WhiteWater World.” Dreamworld Chief Operating Officer, Greg Yong said.
“We have got an incredibly exciting roadmap ahead, with construction of our $32 million multi-launch coaster commencing in the near future, creating over 250 local construction jobs and when completed new jobs at Dreamworld. This will be a real boost for the local economy.”
Major refurbishment works including the upgrade, rebranding and refurbishment of the iconic SideWinder roller coaster and a top to bottom refurbishment of WhiteWater World’s most popular water slide complex, Pipeline Plunge have also commenced.
“None of the works we’re undertaking, or a successful re-opening would be possible without our valued team, so we can’t wait to welcome them back to our parks.” Greg Yong said.
“Over the coming weeks we look forward to announcing some additional holiday activities to complement our stellar line up of existing rides and attractions and will shortly announce the details for the return of our Happy Halloween nights commencing in October (2020).
Dreamworld opens from 10AM and WhiteWater World from 11AM on Wednesday 16 September 2020 under an approved site specific COVID SAFE Plan. Visit dreamworld.com.au for more information.
