On Tuesday 27 April 2021, Derwent Valley Council will launch its Local Small Business Recovery Grant Program.
The program will provide grants of up to $4,000 for small businesses that are changing their business or undertaking new initiatives to help their business become more resilient, adapt and recover in a changing COVID-19 environment.
Acting Derwent Valley Mayor Jessica Cosgrove said the grants are a way for the council to support local businesses to recover from COVID-19.
“Many of our small businesses have had to make changes to the way they run their business. Many of them have had to come up with new ways to operate and these grants will help their business continue to adapt, become more resilient and recover from the pandemic.”
