Beaudesert set for two-night buckfest

After an action-packed season start in Scone and a Touring Pro stop in Marrabel, the 2026 PBR Australia Monster Energy Tour heads to Beaudesert Showground for two nights of competition on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 February, with $20,000 up for grabs.

Queenslanders are in the spotlight on home turf, with Zane Hall (Athol) leading the Monster Energy Tour standings after Scone, followed closely by Donnie Rutherfurd (Mount Isa) and reigning National Champion Kurt Shephard (Mareeba). New Zealand’s Fraser Babbington and Victorian Kelsey Pavlou are also in the mix, alongside Queensland powerhouse Macaulie Leather (Calliope).

The Beaudesert line-up includes almost 40 Open riders (including international competitors from Brazil), 11 Challenger riders and 74 Juniors, with 2024 Beaudesert buckle holder Clint Glass (Willow Tree, NSW) returning to chase another Beauy title. Event times are 7:30pm Friday and 7:00pm Saturday, with the PBR Can-Am Junior Academy running on Saturday afternoon.
