A 127ha dryland cropping site in Angas Plains within the Alexandria Council region south-east of Adelaide has been listed for sale by CMV Farms.
Located on Nine Mile Road, a total of 126ha of the property is arable, with the lot having been used for hay production and produced cereals, oilseeds and grain legumes.
The property has been owned by CMV Farms Pty Ltd since 2019, and currently operates on an annual farm-share agreement.
It is underpinned by sandy loams over brown clay, while the nearby township of Strathalbyn receives an annual average rainfall of 491mm.
Angas Plains is roughly an hour from Adelaide, near Lake Alexandria.
CBRE’s Phil Schell and Angus Bills have been appointed to manage the sale campaign, with Expressions of Interest invited before May 26.
“The Nine Mile lot would be ideally suited to new industry participants, or neighbouring landowners looking to add scale,” Mr Schell said.
Mr Bills added: “The property’s operational efficiency, fertile soils, idyllic climate and desirable location make it a highly-productive broadacre cropping platform.”
