$116 million affordable land package driving growth in the Wheatbelt

The WA Government’s $116 million Regional Land Booster is set to boost the economy and jobs in the Wheatbelt, with 191 development-ready lots receiving a reduction in price.

The reduced DevelopmentWA lots include industrial, commercial and residential lots throughout the Wheatbelt region.

Single residential lot prices in Cervantes now start from $105,000, saving land buyers up to $42,900.

Other areas included in the Regional Land Booster within the Wheatbelt region include:

  • Darkan Town residential, with all lots priced at $25,000, saving land buyers up to $25,000;
  • A Cervantes multi-residential lot now priced at $595,000 saving $145,900;
  • Williams residential, with prices from $57,000;
  • Wundowie residential, with prices from $75,000; and
  • Avon Industrial Park, with prices from $239,800

Delivering more affordable land in the Wheatbelt region is expected to stimulate the local building and construction sector, driving business investment and creating local jobs.

The Regional Land Booster comes in addition to the State Government’s $20,000 Building Bonus Grant and the Commonwealth Government’s HomeBuilder grant.

Eligible land buyers will be able to take advantage of up to $69,000 in State and Commonwealth building and homeownership grants.
