The search is on for local governments making outstanding differences to their communities.
The annual Western Australian Regional Achievement and Community Awards are WA’s most prestigious and publicly recognised regional awards program.
In 2019, a new award category was added to recognise local governments that are making a significant contribution to regional and rural areas.
The Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries’ Making a Difference Award will recognise collaborative efforts by local governments to ensure positive outcomes for WA’s regional communities.
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in October 2019.
