New Community Partnership program announced for regional WA

The WA Government, through Horizon Power, is providing $1.1 million in community partnership funding to support the revitalisation of regional Western Australian communities post COVID-19.

Horizon Power will increase its community partnership funding, offering up to $50,000 to individual organisations.

The funding can be used to support ongoing community programs, as well as one-off initiatives or events which address one or more of the following:

  • encourages community activation;
  • is accessible to all;
  • is free or very low cost to attend;
  • supports the wellbeing and good health of the community.

Round one applications will open today (July 19 2020), with local information sessions being delivered across regional WA.

A limited number of grants are also available for eligible organisations that can demonstrate financial hardship as a result of the pandemic, which has impacted their ability to deliver services.
