Grants on offer for waterwise Busselton community groups

Applications are now open for the latest round of the Busselton Water Community Partnership Program.

Community organisations, volunteer groups, schools and clubs looking for support are encouraged to apply – particularly for projects with a focus on water efficiency, innovation, leadership, sustainability and education.

In 2018, nine local groups received funding, including Busselton Volunteer Fire and Rescue for safety cameras and equipment for emergency vehicles, and Cornerstone Christian College for a sustainable waterwise garden.

The Busselton Croquet Club accessed funding for a new hot water system, and long-standing program recipient, Disabled Surfers Association South West for its Let’s Go Surfing days at Bunker Bay.

Vasse Royals Football Club also received $3,000 towards a new storage trailer for club equipment.

Applications for the 2019-20 program are now open and close on June 3, 2019.
