Call goes out for artists and creatives looking to exhibit at GRAGM

Have you ever wanted to have your artwork exhibited in a professional gallery?

Well now you have an opportunity to make it happen at Gladstone Regional Art Gallery & Museum (GRAGM).

The team at GRAGM are calling for expressions of interest for artists and creatives to submit exhibition proposal ideas for the 2021/22 program.

Gladstone Region Mayor Matt Burnett said GRAGM is asking for proposal ideas that address specific selection criteria.

“The team at GRAGM will select exhibition projects in several strategic ways, taking into account how it relates to community desires and tourism drivers,” Councillor Burnett said.

“GRAGM use eight categories to select projects, these include: Place, Uniqueness, Audience, Medium, Collaboration, Diversity, Time and Community.

“It’s asked that applicants address the desired criteria to be consideration for adoption into the 2021/22 program.”

Cr Burnett added that potential exhibitions would be housed in one of several spaces located within GRAGM, including the Town Hall Gallery, Front Gallery, Museum Room and O’Connell Gallery.
