Luxury lifestyle brand Lexus will welcome new customers to the brand and further its hospitality to loyal guests after opening a stylish new dealership in Victoria.
Lexus of Berwick is strategically positioned 40km south-east of Melbourne in the state’s largest and fastest-growing municipality, catering for both sales and service within a new state-of-the-art facility.
The second new dealership to open within nine months, following Lexus of Central Coast (NSW) in September 2018, Lexus of Berwick reinforces a commitment by Lexus Australia to enhance its reach to customers nationwide.
Lexus of Berwick general manager Con Kafetzis said the cutting-edge design of the dealership placed customers and guests front and centre, promoting a warm and comfortable environment while radiating quality.
“Our customers are welcomed by staff as we would welcome guests into our home, so it was imperative that we deliver the interior styling and touchpoints to match our hospitality,” Mr Kafetzis said.
“From the tall ceilings to the detailed wood and marble craftsmanship throughout the inviting lounge area, we wanted to go beyond creating a pressure-free environment and embrace a warmly inviting ambience.”
Lexus Australia chief executive Scott Thompson said the brand’s new dealership design philosophy will roll out across Australia as part of a multi-million-dollar investment.
“Lexus of Berwick is the second dealership to deliver our blueprint for the look and feel of all Lexus dealerships,” Mr Thompson said.
“After launching four all-new models within 18 months, we are committed to investing in new and refreshed dealerships that complement the professionalism of our exceptional dealership staff.”
Lexus of Berwick is the first dealership nationwide to incorporate a One Touch Experience where guests will liaise with one highly trained advisor throughout the entire ownership process, from decision-making to sale, finance and servicing.
Training processes reflect a modern approach to Lexus’ Japanese heritage by embracing the principles of Omotenashi – anticipating the needs and desires of guests.
The exterior of every new dealership incorporates a black frame with an illuminated bright white border surrounding the expansive glass windows, delivering a slick and consistent corporate look that ensures vehicles inside gain a prominent position.
At night, the bright white daytime running lights of forward-facing Lexus vehicles underscores a premium presence to foot traffic and other vehicles passing by.
Inside, Lexus of Berwick reflects the high-grade appointments of Lexus’ Intersect brand stores in New York, Paris and Tokyo.
Light wood and grey tones interplay with horizontal illumination and high-resolution displays in a welcome room that leads to an impressively furnished reception area.
A blend of decorative shapes, floral arrangement and high art exudes a modern luxury feel as guests are greeted into the dealership.
Guests can browse the nine-vehicle showroom at leisure, while discussions about vehicle selection take place in a relaxed environment – a coffee lounge complete with brochures and merchandise, rather than a clinical and imposing salesperson’s office.
